Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has strengthened its project finance capabilities with the addition of Consultant Stephen Begley.
Stephen specialises in the financing and development of energy-related transactions in the Asia Pacific region, representing energy regulators, commercial lenders, sponsors, developers, terminal owners, gas pipeline operators and gas sellers and buyers along the energy supply chain. Stephen also has wide experience advising clients on the development of the regulatory framework underpinning open access gas markets where he has advised both PowerGas, the owner and operator of the gas transmission and distribution network in Singapore (between 2001-2007) and Gas Malaysia, the owner and operator of the gas distribution networks in Malaysia. He joins the firm in London from Norton Rose Fulbright, where he previously served as a Partner and Consultant.
