Maxime is a lawyer admitted to the Paris Bar focusing on regulatory compliance and advisory services for financial market participants. His practice is focused primarily on the asset management sector, with particular expertise in the legal structuring of investment funds — notably in private equity — and in managing interactions with regulatory authorities.
Prior to joining Stephenson Harwood, Maxime gained experience in several internships in investment funds at a Luxembourg and Paris-based law firm, as well as in private equity M&A.
Maxime advises asset management companies and banking groups on a broad range of regulatory matters, including fund restructurings, financial product distribution, and ongoing compliance.
This includes investment product structuring, sustainable finance, distribution of financial products and various regulatory obligations of financial actors, with a focus on remuneration policy reviews.
