We want to ensure that our policies are inclusive and accessible to everyone. We have a range of global policies to support our colleagues and their families.
These include:
- Our family friendly policies to support those on the path to parenthood, and parents and carers. This support includes coaching for new parents and their managers, enhanced global new parent policies for primary and secondary parents, neonatal leave policies for those whose baby is admitted to hospital, fertility and pregnancy loss policies and carers policies. All our family policies are LGBT+ inclusive and apply regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity and, for colleagues based in countries where adoption and surrogacy are legal, they also apply. Find out more about these policies here.
- Our transitioning at work policy and guidance which supports anyone transitioning at work, or who has a trans history. The policy provides guidance to individuals, line managers, colleagues and the human resources department on how to best support a trans colleague. Find out more about this policy here.
SHout, our LGBT+ employee network, provides support and a peer network for LGBT+ colleagues. They work to increase understanding of LGBT+ issues and celebrate LGBT+ colleagues and role models.
Advocating for LGBT+ rights is a vital part of our commitment to LGBT+ inclusion. In 2023, we announced our partnership with Rainbow Migration, a charity which provides legal representation to asylum seekers fleeing persecution because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Lawyers from the firm provide support to help them secure asylum in the UK.
In this video, our client Anel shares her story of fleeing persecution in Kazakhstan and eventually securing refugee status in the UK with the support of Rainbow Migration and our colleagues.
