His experience spans both contentious and non-contentious matters, providing strategic advice on the full spectrum of IP rights, notably trade marks, and copyright. Brian's experience enables him to provide client with comprehensive advice, whether they are navigating complex litigation or seeking to protect their brand portfolios through licensing and anti-counterfeiting strategies. In contentious matters,
Brian has particular experience in trade mark infringement cases. He also advises on trade mark opposition matters, including registration strategy, prosecution and opposition matters. On the non-contentious side, Brian has assisted client with IP licences and agreements, as well as supporting clients in transactions and corporate deals, and advising on IP aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
