Emmanuelle has extensive experience advising on wealth and asset management, notably private equity, financial services regulation and fund structuring.
Moreover, she has developed a specific practice dedicated to providing regulatory assistance on remuneration frameworks. In this regard, Emmanuelle has developed an innovative approach to incorporating regulatory aspects into the core of clients’ strategies.
Emmanuelle advises leading asset management firms, credit institutions and insurance companies on regulatory, compliance, sustainable finance (ESG) and strategic M&A transactions.
Emmanuelle also advises clients on dealings with French financial authorities (AMF, ACPR) regarding fund structuring, daily operations and restructuring.
She holds two Master's degrees in Tax Law and Business Law and has several years of experience in law firms in France and Luxembourg. She joined Stephenson Harwood in March 2025 to establish the Strategic Regulatory Affairs department.
Emmanuelle Corcos was part of the working group created by AMF in 2022 on the end-of-life of private equity funds, bringing together industry professionals to formulate proposals for adapting the regulatory framework to the difficulties encountered by management companies. In November 2024, the AMF amended its General Regulation and policy to incorporate certain proposals from its report on the work of the working group, with the aim of improving these funds’ compliance with liquidation deadlines and providing better information to unitholders.
