Jamie acts on complex, high-value group litigation, including representing seven of the UK's leading supermarkets seeking damages worth nearly £1 billion (including interest) arising from an alleged cartel in the market for farmed Atlantic salmon. He has also worked on the merchant interchange fee litigation against Visa and Mastercard, acting for more than 1,900 corporate claimants.
Jamie advises on purely transactional competition matters, including merger control and foreign direct investment screening regimes. He is particularly skilled at navigating transactions that fall within the scope of the UK’s National Security and Investment Act.
Jamie trained in the firm's London office. During his training, Jamie gained further regulatory experience representing companies and individuals concerned with investigations commenced by government agencies, such as the Serious Fraud Office, Financial Conduct Authority, and environmental regulators.
