Jonathan has played a pivotal role in building the firm’s Real Estate Finance practice acting on debt financings across the full range of asset classes and leads key relationships with NatWest Group, Leumi UK, QNB Group, SMBC and BACB plc.
Recent highlights include advising a group of lenders on a high profile back leverage transaction, supporting lender syndicates on distressed real estate and acting on a series of PBSA financing transactions. Jonathan is also recognised for his expertise in complex bond restructurings and for guiding corporate trustees through a range of enforcement and distress scenarios. Mailbox
Advised Leumi as senior and mezzanine lender, with Martley Capital Group as sponsor, on a flagship £65 million financing of The Mailbox, a mixed-use asset in Birmingham.

Advised a note trustee on contentious issues in the Fairhold securitisation and facilitating the compromise of claims and c. £1 billion restructuring.
