Laura's clients benefit from her extensive experience in enforcement and litigation matters. Her strategic approach ensures that her clients' IP interests are robustly protected and effectively enforced. Laura is skilled in co-ordinating cross-border disputes and representing clients in proceedings before courts and tribunals, including the High Court, Court of Appeal, Company Names Tribunal, First Tier Tribunal (Information Rights), EUIPO, and the EU General Court. Her expertise extends to arbitration under the WIPO and LCIA Rules, particularly in resolving contractual disputes in the life sciences sector.
Laura is invested in the success of her clients who in turn value Laura's ability to offer timely and pragmatic advice, acting as an extension of the client team. Laura was recently lead associate in trade mark infringement proceedings for Gap’s activewear brand Athleta in the High Court (Athleta (ITM) Inc v Sports Group Denmark and anor [2024] EWHC 2449 (Ch)), and for easyGroup in the High Court (easyGroup Limited v Premier Inn Hotels Limited) and Court of Appeal (easyGroup Limited v Nuclei Limited and ors [2023] EWCA Civ 1247).

Lead associate acting for Athleta, Gap's premium fitness and lifestyle brand, against Sports Group Denmark claiming trade mark infringement and passing off by the use by Sports Group Demark of its ATHLECIA sportswear brand ([2024] EWHC 2449 (Ch)).
Trade mark enforcement – licensing
Lead associate acting for easyGroup against budget hotel chain Premier Inn claiming infringement of easyGroup's trade marks by the use by Premier Inn of the sign REST EASY in connection with its budget hotel services (Claim No. IL-2023-000115).
Trade mark enforcement – life sciences/consumer healthcare
Advising clients including GSK, Haleon and Dr Wolff on the prosecution and enforcement of their life sciences and consumer healthcare brands including UKIPO and court actions forming part of wider multi-jurisdictional disputes.
