Kamal Shah reappointed to London Court of International Arbitration's (LCIA) Court

Stephenson Harwood partner Kamal Shah has been reappointed to the London Court of International Arbitration's (LCIA) Court. Kamal's term has been extended for another five years until May 2028.

The LCIA is one of the world’s leading international institutions for commercial dispute resolution and has access to experienced arbitrators and mediators with expertise across many jurisdictions. In its announcement, the LCIA said: "we are delighted to be calling on exceptional circumstances within the Court appointment process to extend the term of Kamal Shah for another five years, to carry on important work and steer developments in Africa."

Kamal, head of Stephenson Harwood's Africa and India groups, specialises in complex, cross-border international arbitration, litigation, and fraud and asset tracing in Africa and India. He acts for governments, government entities, banks, private corporations and high net worth individuals in a range of matters.
