Stephenson Harwood advises Citic Europe Holdings on sale of Invia Group

公司事务 | 20/05/2025

Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Citic Europe Holdings A.S. on the €250 million sale of Invia Group.

The firm advised Citic Europe Holdings, which held a 60% stake in European Bridge Travel (EBT) group alongside Rockaway Capital Group, in relation to EBT’s sale of Invia Group, a leading online travel agency in Central and Eastern Europe with over 1,200 employees, to Poland-based Wirtualna Polska.  The matter raised complex interjurisdictional issues among various stakeholders, and marks a strategically significant disposal for Citic Europe Holdings.

Corporate Partner Jay Ze led a cross-border team from Stephenson Harwood's London and Hong Kong offices, supported by Corporate Partner Duncan Stiles, Of Counsel Lijuan Hou, and Associates Weiting Zhu and Matt Kinghorn. Further support was provided by Commercial Litigation Partner Dan Smith and Associate Chris Spiller, and Employment Partner Richard Freedman.
