Stephenson Harwood advises FPE Capital on buyout of Vanda Research
Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised FPE Capital on the buyout of Vanda Research, a leading provider of specialist research and data products for institutional capital markets investors.
FPE Capital is a private equity investment firm which invests in software, data and software services companies. This transaction is the sixth investment from FPE Fund III.
The Stephenson Harwood team was led by private equity partner Chris Manning, who was supported by associates Alex Stevens, Kunal Shah and Grant McGregor. Further support was provided by Singapore-based partner Tom Platts and associate Chris Madden, with Singapore law advice provided by Virtus Law partner Sheetal Sandhu, Claris Shaw and Vanessa Ho. A cross-practice team of lawyers from across the firm advised on the finance, technology, employment and pensions, and real estate aspects of the transaction. US firm Troutman Pepper provided advice on the US aspects of the transaction.
