Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised V Group and its private equity owner Advent International in relation to V Group's sale to a consortium led by STAR Capital.
V Group is a global provider of mission-critical services to the maritime industry and the largest ship management business in the world. The transaction, involving multiple teams in offices around the world, will allow V Group to accelerate investments across their shipping and services platform. The firm supported the company in exit preparations and provided other transactional support.
