Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has announced that it is retaining 82% of its trainees who qualify in March 2023. Nine of the 11 qualifying trainees were offered positions: eight will join the firm’s London office, and one the Dubai office.

"Investing in people across the business is a core priority of the firm, and these figures reflect our continued commitment to developing, and sustaining, a strong pipeline of talent," said Lisa Marks, partner and trainee principal at Stephenson Harwood. "It's an exciting time for the firm, as our newly formed strategic areas of focus take shape and become embedded into our business, providing a range of opportunities for these ambitious and talented new lawyers to get involved in shaping our future, and supporting clients across a host of legal and commercial issues."

The newly qualified lawyers will join the firm’s commercial litigation, corporate, marine and international trade, and real estate and projects practice groups.
