In particular, Yumi advises financial institutions, lessors and airlines on a variety of financing, lease negotiations, lease novation, refinancing and restructuring transactions with a particular focus on airlines based in Asia.

Her transactions include: advising on the sale, financing and leasing of a portfolio of 21 aircraft by an airline group; advising on the restructuring of an entire lease portfolio for an airline group to help optimise operations and revenue; advising Singapore-based Transportation Partners on the restructuring of the Lion Air group involving more than 200 aircraft and 50 lessor groups to deal with the financial impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the airline group; and advising Cebu Pacific on numerous lease negotiations, sale and leasebacks and JOLCO financings with multiple lessors.
