As an Associate in the Aviation Litigation and Regulation team at Stephenson Harwood LLP, Chloe supports the full spectrum of clients across the aviation sector. From airlines and aircraft lessors to airports, maintenance providers, and financial institutions, Chloe is dedicated to helping clients keep their operations flying smoothly, no matter what legal turbulence may arise.

With hands-on experience in High Court litigation, arbitration, and mediation, Chloe is adept at resolving disputes involving non-payment of rent, maintenance issues, contract breaches, and negligence claims. Chloe has a clear, pragmatic approach to problem-solving with an ability to cut through complexity, ensuring that client interests are protected at every stage. On the regulatory front, Chloe guides clients through the ever-evolving landscape of international, EU, and domestic aviation regulation, including consumer protection, passenger rights, and the latest compliance requirements.

Chloe holds a degree in Law with Southeast Asian Law degree from the University of Nottingham and the National University of Singapore. Chloe brings a global perspective and a personal passion for aviation to every matter. Known for being approachable, responsive, and commercially minded, Chloe is committed to helping clients navigate challenges and seize opportunities—so they can focus on what they do best: keeping the world connected.

  • Lease disputes

    Represented airlines and lessors on high-value disputes arising out of the operation of wet and dry leases, AOGs, C-Checks, airframe structural repairs, engine shop visits, engine thrust increases, APUs, and whether maintenance events qualify for release from accrued maintenance reserves.
  • Redelivery disputes

    Represented airlines and lessors on high-value disputes arising out of the maintenance, redelivery or repossession of leased aircraft and engines over a range of issues.
  • Disputes with airports

    Represented several carriers on disputes with airports over airport fees and charges, ground handling services, discriminatory pricing, and state aid.
  • Dispute with maintenance equipment providers

    Advising airlines in relation to disputes with an aircraft maintenance equipment providers.
  • Regulatory advice

    Advised airlines on a variety of commercial and regulatory aspects, including the setting up of a new UK airline, cabin baggage policies, airworthiness requirements, air operations, general terms and conditions of carriage, consumer rights, advertising standards and disruptive passengers,
  • Investigation advice

    Advising airlines in respect of compliance with a range of investigations including public enquiries.
