Stephenson Harwood advises on Bon Vivant fundraising
Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Sparkfood and Sofinnova Partners on the recent €15 million fundraising for Bon Vivant, a French start-up that produces sustainable milk proteins by using nutritional yeasts and precision fermentation.
Bon Vivant will use this funding to strengthen its research and development teams. A major player in precision fermentation, Bon Vivant will use its unique model as an 'ingredient supplier' to the dairy industry to address the challenge of growing demand, while limiting the environmental impact of its products.
The Stephenson Harwood team included private equity and M&A partner Guillaume Briant, managing associate Ali Hilass and associate Ghita Filali; IP partner Boriana Guimberteau and associate Magali Courroye; and of counsel Laetitia Ghebali, who advised on the regulatory aspects.
