Stephenson Harwood wins four awards at WealthBriefingAsia & Greater China Awards 2023
Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has won four awards at the WealthBriefingAsia & Greater China Awards 2023, which were held in Singapore. Partner Kevin Lee received the 'Lifetime Achievement' award, and the firm won the following awards: 'Family Wealth Advisory Offering' (Greater China), 'Legal Team' (South-East Asia), and 'NextGen Program' (South-East Asia).
These annual awards, which are part of WealthBriefing's global awards programme, recognise firms, teams, and individuals that have demonstrated innovation and excellence during the last year.
Kevin won the 'Lifetime Achievement' award in recognition of his work advising "on a broad range of matters involving corporate commercial, tax, regulatory, intellectual property, employment, immigration and philanthropy". Judges noted that this year's winner "is a private wealth lawyer and an all-round commercial lawyer who thinks broadly and deeply".
For the 'Family Wealth Advisory Offering' (Greater China) award, the judges commended the firm's "high-quality work in wealth advisory across the region" and "unsurpassed commitment to the private wealth profession and the wider community at large".
In their comments for the 'Legal Team' (South-East Asia) award, the judges highlighted the firm's "substantial experience in South-Eastern Asia" and how it was at the "forefront of trends such as ESG, digital assets and female empowerment".
For the 'NextGen Program' (South-East Asia) award, the judges recognised the firm's work helping clients set up "meaningful family structures to preserve, manage, grow and transfer wealth to the next generation and beyond".
