A number of high profile companies have entrusted Tom to assist with their IPOs including Hotel Chocolat, easyHotel, Hornby and Manolete Partners. Tom also regularly acts for London mid-cap brokers on IPOs and secondary fundraisings (including placings, cash boxes and open offers) such as Stifel, Deutsche Numis, Cavendish and Panmure Liberum.
Tom is ranked in Chambers for Capital Markets: AIM and is a consultant editor of 'A Practitioner's Guide to the AIM Rules'.
Public takeover work includes buy-side such as advising Novacyt on its acquisition of Yourgene Health and sell-side such as advising easyHotel on its takeover by ICAMAP and CDPQ.
Private company M&A roles include advising De Vere on the sale of the Grand Hotel, Brighton and Snap-on Inc. on its acquisition of Norbar Torque Tools.
Tom has particular experience in the life sciences and healthcare sector and is a Recommended Lawyer in Legal 500 for Life Sciences & Healthcare. Tom has advised leading names in the sector such as Novacyt, BTG and Benevolent AI.

Advised long-standing diagnostics client Novacyt in relation to its recommended takeover of Yourgene Health. The transaction was governed by the Takeover Code and effected by a court-sanctioned scheme of arrangement.

Advised Manolete Partners on its £76m AIM IPO and placing.

Advised Numis in its role as nominated adviser and broker on the AIM IPO of Argentex Group plc and related £46 million placing of new and existing shares.
