Ryan Fordham joins Stephenson Harwood as partner
Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has strengthened its construction capabilities with the addition of partner Ryan Fordham. Ryan joins the firm in London.
Ryan is a non-contentious construction and engineering partner, whose expertise includes providing construction procurement, contract drafting and negotiating, project and transaction advice. His wide-ranging client base includes developers, contractors, consultants, landlords, investors and lenders across sectors including office space, logistics, hospitality, residential, retail, mixed use, life sciences, utilities, and energy and infrastructure.
"With more certainty in the market post-election and budget, interest rate cuts and impending developments in the planning sector, the firm's real estate and projects group is experiencing strong demand for high-calibre construction advice," said Rebecca Carter, head of Stephenson Harwood's real estate and projects group. "Ryan's arrival complements the existing skillset within the team, and will enable us to respond to the needs of our growing client base."
"Ryan's extensive construction experience on national and international projects will be a key asset for our real estate, energy and infrastructure capabilities," said Jonathan Cripps, who leads Stephenson Harwood's energy transition practice. "Working alongside our teams in banking, contentious construction and restructuring, the additional expertise he brings to the team will add further depth to our client offering and enable us to support them on the full lifecycle of large construction projects."
With international expertise and broad experience in a wide range of commercial and residential property transactions and major global projects, Stephenson Harwood's real estate and projects practice advises clients all over the world. The team provides a full service offering both for external clients and for other teams within the firm.
