• Mount Eden/The Langham Estate
  Advising re ongoing and future works to properties across the Langham Estate in London.  This includes BSA advice and registration of higher-risk buildings within the disposal portfolio.
• Mandarin Oriental
  Advised the owner on the refurbishment of the 5-star hotel, its spa and food & beverage operations including sequencing of works to ensure that the hotel could remain operational throughout.
• 4C Hotels Group
  Advised the developer on the demolition, construction and re-development of four riverside properties into the Westin London City Hotel and associated riverside walkway.

  Advised on the multi-phase re-development of its Kensington campus as well as on the development of teaching buildings including the Woo Building.

  Advised the University on the design and construction of the Stirling Prize nominated School of Architecture in the centre of maritime Greenwich.

  Advised on the FIDIC contracts for the development of a coral reef recovery facility in the Red Sea.

  Advised in relation to its £300 million Centre for Advanced Knowledge Engineering in Downham Market comprising a 90-acre campus providing offices, halls of residence, research and teaching facilities (Norfolk).

  Advised on the procurement of its multi-phased campus redevelopment at Langley.

Recent experience includes:

• North London Waste Authority
  Advising on all construction and procurement aspects of the £1.5 billion North London Heat and Power Project, including the engineering, procurement and construction of a new Energy Recovery Facility to process 700,000 tonnes of waste per year. This project is one of the largest waste management projects in Europe.
• ABB
  ABB on two contracts forming part of the electrification of the arc furnace for Tata Steel's Port Talbot steelworks, a nationally significant decarbonisation project which has been the subject of UK government support and press attention.
• Ground mounted solar
  Advising a multinational contractor on its EPC contracts for ground mounted solar projects in the UK, the Republic of Ireland and mainland Europe.
• Independent generation companies
  Advised on crane maintenance contracts and civils works construction contracts in connection with the development of two multi-billion-pound 3.2 gigawatt nuclear power stations. 
• Engie
  Advising on the BOOT arrangements for the design, construction and installation of a district cooling network at a cyber-zone industrial area in the Philippines.
• UK green hydrogen developer 
  Advised this hydrogen developer in connection with the engineering, procurement and construction of hydrogen projects using the engineering, procurement and construction management route with a view to developing a construction procurement methodology for further facilities throughout the UK.

  Advising a joint venture between National Farmers Union Mutual and Ergo Real Estate regarding the full life cycle of its growing portfolio of logistics sites, acquired by way of forward funding and debt finance. Re-letting and letting of units followed by the sale of the sites.

  Advised on the construction of a new super-size distribution centre at the London Gateway port and logistics park complex in Thurrock, Essex to Tesco plc.

  Advising a Jersey based unit trust on the demolition of the former NatWest tower in Birmingham, and the construction of a new landmark 26 storey building comprising offices and leisure space, including a rooftop restaurant and four-storey winter garden.

  Advised the lenders on the funding of the re-development of 65 Gresham Street, London comprising a sustainable re-development and vertical extension to the property.

  Advising a developer on the re-development of an existing building into new office accommodation including the retention of the existing listed façade, St James’s Square.
• Sovereign investment fund
  Advised on the internal fit-out and plant replacement of office facilities.

  Advising a contractor on its bids for a number of residential construction projects including the design and re-development of existing office accommodation to co-living accommodation with shared amenity space in the Barbican, London.
• Private bank
  We advised a private banking institution on the re-development of prime London real estate by HNW and UHNW borrowers.
• Funder
  Advising the lender on the construction of a PBSA scheme in East London including advice on the application of the Building Safety Act and the alternative accommodation requirements for late delivery against construction programme.
• Property developer and funder
  Acted for a property developer and funder of a residential development in Bristol comprising 140 new homes (96 apartments and 44 houses) including procurement, contract drafting and project advice following the insolvency of the original contractor.

  Supporting a consortium of major international construction companies on its bids for the main works and enabling works civils packages that form part of the UK Government’s High Speed Two project.

  We advised CAF on the construction and engineering of a final assembly plant and manufacturing centre of excellence in Newport, Wales, with rail connection to facilitate the delivery of new rolling stock.
• EV charging facilities
  Advising a London bus operator on the installation of EV charging facilities for bus routes across a number of depots.
• C2C Railways Limited
  We advised the train operator on a number of station and platform upgrade works across its rail network.

  Advising ABB on its contractors for the supply of ship to shore power supporting the hybrid ferry programme at Portsmouth port.
