Stephenson Harwood named ‘Law Firm of the Year’ at PICCASO Privacy Awards 2025
Stephenson Harwood LLP has been named ‘Law Firm of the Year’ at the PICCASO Privacy Awards 2025, which celebrate excellence and innovation in privacy, information security, and compliance across Europe.
The firm’s data protection and cybersecurity team was recognised for its work at the forefront of UK data protection law. Notable achievements include advising the Association of British Insurers on the first-ever Code of Conduct approved under the UK GDPR, a groundbreaking development that secured approval from the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
The award also highlights the team’s extensive experience advising clients on complex data protection, AI, and cybersecurity issues; managing high-stakes disputes such as data breach litigation, class actions, and regulatory enquiries; and providing urgent assistance in contentious matters, including obtaining emergency injunctions to recover business data.
