Stephenson Harwood recognised at IJ Global Awards 2025

Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has been recognised at the IJ Global Awards 2025.

The firm advised on the Stanford Marine Group OSV Fleet Financing, which has been named Transport Deal of the Year.

Stephenson Harwood advised National Bank of Fujairah PJSC and The Arab Energy Fund on a US$300 million syndicated financing facility provided to Stanford Marine and Allianz Middle East Ship Management. This landmark facility will support the growth of the world’s fourth largest offshore support vessel (OSV) fleet, with 120 vessels operating across 13 jurisdictions.

The transaction is one of the most significant in the shipping industry, given the unprecedented scale of the loan amount and the complexity involved, with assets and obligors spanning the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the West Indies. The Stephenson Harwood team advised on the laws of the UAE, Singapore, Liberia, and England and Wales, working closely with local counsel and leveraging the firm’s multi-jurisdictional expertise to ensure compliance with diverse regulatory frameworks.
