Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance has advised KfW IPEX-Bank on an $80 million sustainability-linked, secured revolving credit facility (RCF) to X-Press Feeders, a Singapore-based container feeder operator.
The firm acted for KfW IPEX-Bank in its capacity as Agent, Security Agent and sustainability coordinator. This RCF features a sustainability-linked margin adjustment, with a key performance indicator linked to the reduction of carbon intensity. The proceeds of the financing are intended to support X-Press Feeders’ fleet renewal plans, fuel efficiency technology on board its vessels and related initiatives aligned with its decarbonisation plans.
