Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance advises on award winning India deal

Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance has advised the State Bank of India (SBI) on a construction finance loan to Radial IT Park, a CapitaLand group company.

The deal has won the 'Green Project of the Year' award at The Asset's Triple A Sustainable Infrastructure Awards 2024 – South Asia. These awards honour institutions and deals in Asia that have been involved in ESG-related infrastructure finance deals matters that take into consideration the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

The loan will be used to construct the first business park in India to be certified by the Indian Green Building Council as net zero for energy efficiency. It is the largest sustainability-focused commercial real estate project to be funded by SBI.

The Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance team was led by banking and finance partner Dr Gregory Xu, who was supported by partner Colin Jarraw, associates Kenneth Kwok and Jamie Loh, and paralegal Sylvia Lisa.
