David is a Counsel at Stephenson Harwood who acts for financial institutions, investors, lenders, borrowers and trustees on banking and finance transactions. In particular, he has extensive experience in structured finance, securitisation, asset-backed and secured finance and structured products. David also advises on all matters of corporate and commercial law.

He is also listed as a recommended lawyer in Legal 500 Asia Pacific for Structured Finance and Securitisation in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Stephenson Harwood, David was a lawyer at other international law firms. Before commencing his legal career, David worked as an analyst at the new business development and finance departments of the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts (US headquarters). David holds a Juris Doctor (First Class Honours) from The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Science (Chemical Engineering) (Highest Honours) from The University of California, Berkeley.

Advising on PRC secured offshore borrowing and lending.

Advising on the disposition of performing/non-performing portfolios of investments and securities (auctions and debt capital markets).
