Worldwide freezing injunctions
Acted on behalf of a private client to secure a €150 million English High Court freezing order against a German financier, and for an oil trader in obtaining a US$ 22 million English High Court freezing order against a UAE-based oil company.
Commodities Disputes
Acted for a UAE commodities trader in securing a US$33 million English High Court judgment against a Nigerian oil company and guarantor, including establishing a legal precedent for the enforcement of guarantees and seller rights under the Sale of Goods Act.
Major casualty and cargo claims
Supported Maersk in claims arising from the tragic fire onboard the Maersk Honam, including the resulting investigation and claims exceeding US$100 million.
Collision claims
Acted for Owners in respect to a high-value collision and related cargo claims involving two bulk carriers in Bangladesh waters.
International Debt Enforcement
Successfully assisted with cross-border enforcement of English High Court judgments and arbitral awards in numerous jurisdictions, including the UAE, Nigeria, Switzerland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United States.

Successfully secured the arrest and detention of vessels in locations including Australia, India, UAE, France, Italy and Greece.
Oil & Gas Non-Contentious
Acted for a multinational oil company in relation to the amalgamation of two subsidiary gas companies into a single gas company with a processing capacity of 10 billion SCFD as well as advised on the first onshore exploration concession granted in Abu Dhabi to a US-based international oil and gas company.
