Gareth has worked in UK nuclear for over 20 years on almost all its licensed sites and as global nuclear interest grows, so has his engagement with international clients. Gareth is particularly involved in emergency planning, corporate governance and increasingly, international nuclear acquisitions.

Gareth has 20 years’ legal/commercial experience in the nuclear sector, advising domestic and overseas clients, both in-house and in private practice. He worked at Imperial College as CEO of one of its trading subsidiaries, before moving on-site at Imperial College’s Consort Reactor to be commercial lead of its decommissioning planning project. He worked closely during this period with the then newly formed NDA.
He has worked on most UK licensed sites and for some of Europe’s largest nuclear organisations. He sits on various Boards and committees and has advised on numerous supply chain projects and initiatives.
Gareth has wide experience in corporate governance, particularly the not-for-profit sector, where he advises key organisations on governance, effectiveness, and best practise. Gareth has acted as company secretary/director to several UK businesses, some with overseas ownership, and has worked with Radsafe for over 15 years on nuclear emergency response.
Finally, Gareth has been involved in the diversity agenda for several years, most recently setting up the not-for-profit WiN UK Ltd and Inclusion and Diversity in Nuclear Ltd. Gareth has a keen interest in SMEs (and the wider SME supply chain) having been instrumental in setting-up and running the NDA SME mentoring scheme.
