  • Oil trade dispute, UNCITRAL arbitration

    Representing a commodities trader in a UNCITRAL arbitration concerning a dispute worth over $300 million arising from the alleged non-supply of crude oil under an international sales contract.

  • Cross-border fraud, DIFC Court proceedings

    Represented a global commodities trader in complex, high-profile cross-border fraud litigation before the DIFC Courts, obtaining a freezing and disclosure order over UAE assets in support of English proceedings involving losses in excess of $600 million.

  • Probate and wills dispute, DIFC Court proceedings

    Acted for a high-net-worth individual in probate proceedings before the DIFC Courts, challenging the validity of his father’s last will and testament and seeking revocation of the grant of probate in respect of an estate valued at approximately AED 450 million. This is the first case of its kind before the DIFC Courts.

  • Plot development dispute, DIAC arbitration

    Acted for a prominent UAE master developer in a high-value DIAC arbitration defending claims arising out of a plot sale and purchase agreement valued at approximately AED 100 million.

  • Construction dispute, DIAC arbitration

    Representing a main contractor in a DIAC arbitration concerning a luxury hotel and residential development in Dubai.
