Prior to joining Stephenson Harwood, Helen spent 8 years working in-house, advising a busy real estate lending team. Helen worked as a very trusted advisor on a number of complex investment and development transactions, across a broad range of asset classes and throughout the transaction lifecycle. Her experience gives her an in-depth insight into what clients need from their external advisers, and she utilises this knowledge to proactively support the firm's finance team.
Helen's private practice experience involved advising lenders and borrowers on a range of secured lending transactions, including real estate finance and general corporate lending.
In her senior knowledge lawyer role, she also focuses on strategic knowledge projects as well as advising on legal developments impacting both clients and wider legal practice.
