Kai Wei assists on a broad and international range of multi-jurisdictional ship finance transactions including but not limited to the sale and purchase of vessels, ship and mortgage registration, advising banks/shipowners on the financing/refinancing of vessels, container portfolio financing and sale and leaseback transactions.

Kai Wei regularly engages with various international maritime authorities/shipping authorities and correspondent counsel across various jurisdictions including (amongst others) Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, Liberia, Panama, BVI, Cayman Islands, Isle of Man, the United Kingdom, Bermuda and Marshall Islands.
