Katelyn is an Australian qualified lawyer with more than six years of experience in commercial and competition disputes.

Katelyn is currently part of the team acting for a range of UK supermarkets in proceedings brought against farmed Atlantic salmon producers alleging unlawful cartel conduct. Katelyn is also part of the team acting for Saxon Woods in unfair prejudice proceedings before the Court of Appeal.  Prior to arriving in London, Katelyn acted for a range of clients in commercial disputes, regulatory investigations and prosecutions, and employment and media claims.

Katelyn is confident in advising clients, insurers and funders through the various stages of contentious disputes. Clients appreciate Katelyn's ability to act swiftly and think commercially, ensuring their interests are protected and advanced.

Experience

  • Saxon Woods Investments Limited

    Successfully represented Saxon Woods in the Court of Appeal, securing a landmark judgment on shareholder disputes and director's fiduciary duty under s172.
  • Aldi, Asda, Co-op, Iceland, Marks and Spencer, Morrisons and Ocado

    Successfully defeated applications by the defendants (i) disputing the Competition Appeal Tribunal's jurisdiction over the claimants' claims; (ii) seeking to strike out the claimants' claims against the Norwegian defendants' UK subsidiaries; and (iii) seeking to require the claimants to reserve their claims.
