Raina Xian

Raina Xian is an associate based in our Hong Kong office, where she specialises in aviation finance, structured finance and general banking.  She regularly acts for banks and lessors in the PRC and in Europe on a wide range of asset finance and corporate lending matters including aircraft financing, secured and unsecured syndicated lending, cross-border aircraft leasing transactions.  She also advises on non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters.

Raina is ranked as a Recommended Lawyer in Hong Kong Asset Finance by Legal 500 Asia-Pacific.

  RMB finance lease with Korean Air Lines involving two new Airbus A321neo aircraft.  This was the first-ever RMB denominated aircraft leasing transaction between any lessor and a non-Chinese lessee.  It was widely regarded as a ground-breaking precedent and was imitated by other lessors later in the year.
