Ron Nobbs leads the Middle East Construction, Engineering, and Infrastructure Disputes team, offering over three decades of experience to developers and contractors worldwide. His expertise spans various sectors including infrastructure, oil and gas, rail, airports, roads, ports, sports and leisure, utilities, process plants, waste and mixed use developments. Clients appreciate his ability to "assimilate technical issues quickly" and "provide practical and commercially focused advice". Ron provides comprehensive support across all major procurement forms, including EPC, EPIC, and PPP, and is adept with all of the principle contract forms including FIDIC, NEC, ICE and IChemE.     Advising the International Contractor on disputes at a smelting plant in relation to the Rectifiers at a project in Saudi Arabia and preparing commercially successful Settlement Agreement.

  • Gas Processing Plant in Iraq

    Acting for the International contractor on a dispute at a Gas Processing plant in Iraq and achieving strong commercial settlement.

  • Nuclear power plant ICC arbitration in Abu Dhabi.

    Advised the International contractor JV on the dispute arising out of the Construction of a Nuclear Plant in AD.

  • Rail Projects and Disputes in UAE and UK

    Acting for Rail Companies and Contractors on multiple rail projects and disputes in UAE and UK including Dubai Metro, Channel Tunnel and London Railway Stations.
