Advising Dutch H&M insurers in relation to a collision off the coast of China and subsequent hull and salvage claims.
Advising continental H&M/P&I insurers in relation to the ATL of a bulk carrier off the Chinese coast following a typhoon, specifically in relation to pollution and wreck removal liabilities.

Advising Lloyd’s War Risk insurers in relation to the detention of a vessel in Kuwait. Subsequently facilitating the release of the vessel through commercial channels.
Acting for leading London Market and French Insurers on a Commercial Court claim relating to the detention of a vessel in Venezuela. The litigation involved consideration of the correct interpretation of the longstanding institute war clauses (and relevant case law) including the customs infringement exclusion and the issue of political interference.
