Stephenson Harwood advises Cebu Pacific on the refinancing of seven Airbus A321-211 aircraft
Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Cebu Pacific on the sale and leaseback of seven Airbus A321-211 aircraft with Jackson Square Aviation, as incoming lessor.
As part of the transaction, the existing financings from a group of banks including Banco Santander S.A., Credit Industriel et Commercial, Singapore Branch, Deutsche Bank AG, Singapore Branch and MUFG Bank, Ltd., Singapore Branch were fully repaid.
As lead counsel on the deal, the Stephenson Harwood team led discussions relating to structuring the cashflows and coordinating the repayment of the existing financings with the proceeds from the sale and leaseback.
The largest airline in the Philippines by fleet size, Cebu Pacific operates flights to more than 60 domestic and international destinations across Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
