Law firm Stephenson Harwood has advised the shareholders of Lilley Plummer Risks on its sale to Goldman Sachs-backed insurance intermediary, The Clear Group.
Lilley Plummer Risks is a specialist Lloyd's marine and property insurance broker. The deal values Lilley Plummer Risks at £76 million. The firm acted for shareholders Stuart Lilley, Dan Plummer, and specialist venture capital investor B.P. Marsh & Partners Plc, and also advised the management team on their reinvestment into The Clear Group. The management team will continue to lead the company with the support from The Clear Group and its majority investor Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
