Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Pelican Capital LLP (“Pelican Capital”) on its investment in Steplab, a teacher professional development platform.

Pelican Capital is a UK private equity firm focused on high-growth technology and tech-enabled services businesses. The investment will enable Steplab to accelerate its mission to give every teacher access to professional development designed to improve classroom practice and student outcomes.

Used by more than 200,000 teachers, Steplab is a complete professional development platform for schools. Designed by educators and grounded in research, it supports everyone in a school – from teachers and teaching assistants to senior leaders and pastoral staff.
