Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised S&P Global on its acquisition of TeraHelix Ltd, a financial technology firm specialising in advanced data modelling, linking, and reconciliation services, leveraging AI technology.
The acquisition strengthens S&P Global’s capabilities in data, technology and AI by enhancing its ability to link datasets across classes and platforms. TeraHelix’s technology improves data interoperability and simplifies integration with a range of implementation technologies, expanding access, connectivity and insights across company, security, people and asset level data.
The transaction builds on a longstanding partnership between S&P Global and TeraHelix, whose technology has played a key role in developing Gearbox, S&P Global’s large language model-powered data linking and matching solution.
