Alex has a track record of delivering transactions for clients across the entirety of the commercial real estate sector, utilising his commercial approach to identify and implement solutions to resolve deals efficiently. He has advised on some of the largest transactions in the English real estate market in the last few years, and advises clients across all sectors on the full range of asset classes, with a particular focus on regeneration and development, the living sector and hotels and leisure.
Alex is instructed by a wide range of clients, including institutional investment funds, local authorities, high net worth individuals, REITs, hotels and restaurants.
Alex is particularly recognised for his expertise in long income, alternative and innovative transaction structures that utilise commercial real estate to deliver investment and development opportunities for institutional funds, developers and end-users (including local authorities). He has experience in using those types of structures in connection with hotel, affordable housing and build to rent developments, as well as town centre regeneration projects.
Alex also regularly acts for corporate occupiers. In particular, he advises occupiers based overseas who are looking to establish an office presence in England and Wales, who value his ability to deliver concise advice that is tailored to their needs.
