Amita helps multinational and high-growth technology, media and telecommunications companies protect, commercialise, and defend the assets that matter most to their business. Her clients include global technology and financial services companies, broadcasters, and telecommunications regulators, and her practice spans intellectual property, data protection, competition law, and cybersecurity across Hong Kong, Singapore, and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

Amita is equally at home in the boardroom and the courtroom. She structures and negotiates complex licensing, technology, and distribution arrangements, and steps in when disputes escalate, having represented both regulators and multinational companies in landmark judicial review proceedings and arbitrations administered by HKIAC, SIAC, ICC, CIETAC, and the LCIA. Clients value her ability to translate intricate legal and regulatory issues into clear, actionable advice for boards and senior management, and her pragmatic approach to resolving disputes efficiently while protecting long-term commercial interests.

Amita has been appointed to SIAC's panel of reserve arbitrators, and writes and speaks regularly on AI regulation, data protection, and IP developments across Asia. A strong advocate for diversity and access to justice, she is one of the region's most recognised pro bono contributors. When a technology dispute or regulatory question has no settled answer, clients bring it to Amita.
