Marta González Llera is a real estate and urban planning Partner at Stephenson Harwood in Madrid. She advises funds, asset managers, developers and investors on complex real estate transactions, investment structures and development projects across Spain, helping clients navigate legal, regulatory and commercial challenges throughout the investment lifecycle.

With more than 15 years of experience, Marta advises on acquisitions and disposals of real estate assets and companies, joint ventures and investment structures, financing transactions, NPL and distressed asset portfolios, development, construction, turnkey arrangements, leasing and asset management. Her practice spans a broad range of sectors, including residential, office, hospitality, logistics, student housing (PBSA), coliving and other alternative living asset classes. She also has extensive experience in urban planning and land management, licensing and permitting procedures, and administrative litigation, providing strategic advice on the structuring and execution of large-scale projects.

Marta combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic and commercial approach, enabling clients to identify opportunities, manage risk and successfully deliver their investment and development objectives. She is recognised for leading sophisticated and multidisciplinary projects, offering practical solutions tailored to the needs of domestic and international investors. Marta holds a Law Degree and a Diploma in Business Administration from ICADE and is also a lecturer at the Complutense University of Madrid.
