Patrick has a broad experience across real estate – both commercial and high value residential property transactions.
In the real estate finance space, Patrick acts for international and UK based lenders on investment and development financings / refinancings and forward funding transactions. He has undertaken in-house client secondments with HSBC's Corporate Real Estate team and the Barings Global Real Estate Debt team. Patrick also advises investor clients on property acquisitions (including multi-site sale and leaseback transactions), disposals and landlord and tenant matters. Patrick has notable experience in the PBSA, logistics, retail park and hotel sectors.
Patrick acts for lenders, family offices and ultra-high-net-worth individuals from across the globe on highly valuable residential property acquisitions, disposals and financings. He also advises insolvency practitioners and lenders on the real estate aspects of restructuring and insolvency matters.

Advising the lender property due diligence team on the refinancing of a 200+ mixed-use portfolio in the west end of London – advising nine different lenders, ensuring all lender requirements were met and concerns mitigated and that the complex valuation exercise was matched to the due diligence reporting.

Advising a private bank on its £100 million loan to an ultra-high-net-worth individual secured by two landmark residential properties – dealing with the property due diligence, loan documents and security package.
Bank led syndicate £400 million retail portfolio financing
Advising a syndicate of lenders on the property due diligence for a facility secured against a portfolio of 28 shopping centres and warehouses valued at circa £1 billion. Leading a team agreeing and reporting on assets held within a complex structure to a tight timeframe.
International Family Office £25 million acquisition of a London townhouse
Advising an ultra-high-net-worth individual, via their family office, on the acquisition of a listed townhouse in prime central London for £25 million. I advised on a complex title, various listed building issues and dealt with a time pressured financing between exchange and completion.
Listed REIT client £773 million refinancing of 200+ mixed-use portfolio
Part of the team advising a listed REIT on the refinancing of a c200 mixed-use property portfolio with a syndicate of lenders. Providing lender counsel with detailed property due diligence across the portfolio, meeting demanding timeframes and working closely with the Debt Finance team on the property aspects of the Facility Agreements.
