Zirui advises on various cross-border transactions, including shipping finance, cross-border bank loans, cross-border M&A transactions, and provides legal opinions from PRC law prospective for financial leasing companies, banks, and shipowners in and outside China. 

Prior to joining Wei Tu, Zirui practiced at a China law firm, focusing on maritime and insurance dispute resolution. 

Zirui received his bachelor's degree in law from Northwest University of Political Science and Law and received master's degree in Internation Business and Commercial Law from University of Manchester. He speaks Mandarin and is fluent in English.

    Advising a Chinese state-owned leasing company and a Chinese shipowner on a financing lease of two new building LNG tankers worth more than US$235 million.

    Advising a Chinese state-owned leasing company and a Chinese shipping company on a financing lease of two new building chemical tankers worth more than US$31 million.

    Advising a bank's Hong Kong branch on the arrangements and security measures for a term loan agreement with a mainland China lender.
