  • Acted for NatWest on the project style financing of eEnergy’s energy as a service provision of solar panels, energy monitoring tech and other energy transition technologies to schools, hospitals and other government owned facilities.

  • UK infrastructure fund - We advised a major UK infrastructure fund on its bid to acquire two operational toll road PPP projects in Ireland – the N8 and the N7 bypass.
  • Advising NextGen AssetCo, a joint venture between Hitachi and FirstGroup, on the financing and leasing of electric bus batteries to support fleet decarbonisation.
  • We advised WrightBus, the Northern Ireland based electric and hydrogen powered bus and truck manufacturer, on their £150 million working capital debt package from HSBC, including a syndicated revolving credit facility and a receivables purchase facility.

Rail

  • HS2 - One of the largest rail construction and engineering projects in the world. We are supporting a consortium of major international construction companies on its bids for the main works civils packages that form part of the UK Government’s High Speed Two project.
  • Acting for Hitachi Rail Limited on the acquisition of Omnicom, supporting digital rail infrastructure monitoring
  • Advising on rolling stock procurement, leasing, and infrastructure investment for major UK rail and tram projects

Airports

  • Lagos Airport PPP - We advised a consortium on its bid for the new $450 million Lekki-Epe International Airport in Lagos. The project comprised a 15-to-25-year concession agreement and involved undertaking the construction of the airport on a DBFOM (Design Build Finance Operate Maintain) basis to build the airport and its various components as well as develop access facilities.

Ports

  • Port near Inverness - We advised on the development of a port at a brownfield site near Inverness to accommodate offshore wind manufacture and installation.
