Corporate partner team join Stephenson Harwood in Hong Kong

Law firm Stephenson Harwood has strengthened its Corporate practice with the arrival of Partners Sammy Li and Samson Suen in Hong Kong. Both bring years of experience advising on IPOs, fundraising, mergers and acquisitions and ongoing compliance for listed companies. They join the firm from Hogan Lovells.

Sammy has been a corporate and capital markets lawyer for more than 25 years and has advised on more than 100 IPOs. He also has extensive experience in M&A, restructuring, and private equity and venture capital deals. He was formerly in-house counsel for a major investment bank, Hong Kong Chair at Paul Hastings, and the Head of Corporate at Hogan Lovells in Hong Kong.

Samson has more than 15 years of experience in corporate finance and equity capital markets. His practice focuses on supporting clients from China and Asia across various major development stages, including early-stage financing and restructuring, IPOs, post-listing fundraising and compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.
