Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance advises Beverage Company Osborne on Asia expansion
Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance, alongside Perez Llorca, has advised Osborne, one of Europe’s oldest producers of wines and spirits, on its S$5 million (£2.9 million) strategic equity investment in Octopus (APAC) Holdings Limited and its associated distribution agreement.
The transaction marks a significant step in Osborne’s expansion into Asia. The partnership includes a master distribution agreement appointing Octopus as the principal distributor of Osborne’s Spanish beverage portfolio in Singapore, across retail, on-trade, and e-commerce channels, as well as manage marketing, trade execution, and brand positioning.
The team was led by Partner Tom Platts, with support from Of Counsel Helen Rhind-Hufnagel, and Associate Emily Lau. Singapore law advice was provided by Virtus Law Partner Eunice Yao and Registered Foreign Lawyer See Jeng Soo.
