Ali intervenes on corporate law issues, particularly on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, on behalf of French and foreign companies (or their shareholders, managers or investors). He provides assistance on build up and corporate reorganizations and development and venture capital. He also advises clients on corporate issues in the course of their everyday business.

Ali worked for a well-known international law firm for 4 years before joining Stephenson Harwood.

He holds a Master 2’s degree in Business Law from the University of Paris XIII and a Master’s II degree in Anglo-American Business Law from the University of Paris V.
Ali is fluent in French and English and is a member of the Paris Bar. He teaches mergers & acquisitions at the University of Paris XIII (Master 2 Droit des affaires approfondi).

    Advised mylight150 in securing €100 million to accelerate the expansion of its solar self-consumption and smart energy management solutions in Europe.

  • Sparkfood and Sofinnova Partners

    Advised Sparkfood and Sofinnova Partners on €15 million fundraising for Bon Vivant, a French start-up that produces sustainable milk proteins by using nutritional yeasts and precision fermentation.

  • Mirova

    Advised Mirova, a subsidiary of Natixis Investment Managers dedicated to sustainable investment, in connection with a €32 million fund-raising by Naïo Technologies, a pioneer and leader in agricultural robotics, to support the company's industrial and commercial growth.

  • Creadev

    Advised Creadev, the Mulliez family's private equity investment company, on its acquisition of a minority stake in Nous Epiceries Anti-Gaspi, a network of stores pioneering the fight against food waste in France.

  • Orange

    Advised telecommunications group Orange on the establishment of its joint venture (JV), Hexadone. The JV is 60% owned by Orange, the digital network and services operator, and 40% by Banque des Territoires (Caisse des Dépôts group).

  • ZoBio    

    Advised the shareholders of ZoBio on its sale to Oncodesign Services.

  • Altitude Group    

    Advised advised Altitude Group on its acquisition of Netwo. Altitude Group is the 3rd largest fiber optic infrastructure operator in France, employing more than 1,600 personnel across its subsidiaries, which include Altitude Infra, Airmob, Covage, Linkt, Phibee Télécom and Ubicité. Netwo is a tech startup offering access to a telecoms' infrastructure marketplace with the aim of simplifying, automating and boosting the business of telecoms operators.

    Advised the founders of Neoxia in the context of the acquisition of their group by Deloitte.
