Olivier has close to two decades of experience advising on compliance, internal investigations, and financial and regulatory crime, with a strong focus on economic security and the defence and strategic industrial sectors. At Stephenson Harwood, he is a partner in the firm's Ethics, Investigations and Defence (EID) practice in Paris, acting for a broad international client base that includes defence and dual-use manufacturers, large industrial groups operating in sensitive sectors (aerospace, nuclear, semiconductors, critical materials, energy, telecoms), financial institutions, and public entities.

His work spans a wide range of criminal and regulatory issues, including: economic sanctions and export controls (dual-use and military goods); anti-corruption; anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CFT); foreign investment screening (FDI) and protection of strategic assets; ESG, business and human rights, and duty of vigilance; trade, customs, and tariff matters; and cybersecurity and protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST/ZRR).
