Tom heads the Southeast Asia M&A team and is based in both Singapore and London. He advises a diverse international client base on strategic investments and cross-border M&A throughout ASEAN and globally. His practice spans a wide range of sectors, including renewables, consumer, financial institutions, media and telecoms, technology, transport, agri-business, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare.
Tom’s practice has a particular focus on the United States. He leads the firm’s US Area of Focus for Southeast Asia, with responsibility for the firm’s relationships with US law firms and US strategy in the region. Tom acts for US corporates, financial sponsors, and their portfolio companies on investments and transactions, and frequently “quarterbacks” advice for US law firms needing coordinated support across multiple Asian jurisdictions, ensuring seamless service for clients navigating complex cross-border matters.
